I have an open question for anyone.
Does anyone know or speculate how the Marconi wires were raised up to the mast tops? Was it all done on the deck as a whole unit and were the then raised by block and tackle or by pulley to the top of the masts?
I have never heard anyone talk about how they were attached and installed. I thought the masts were installed first. If so, then how did all of the Marconi wires get raised and connected?
Does anyone know?
