Here's a new one for you.
I'm looking at the roof over the Marconi room in Ken Marschall's painting on page 81 of Illustrated History.
If this painting is accurate then the kit has another error.
1. The Marconi pylon is in the wrong place and a small mushroom vent should be here. This would make sense if the "Silent Room" was below.
2. The portole skylight sits slightly forward and directly next to the mushroom vent.
3. The Marconi Pylon should be placed further inboard which would also make sense in that it would sit directly over the port corner of the Marconi Room.
On page 122 of the Art of Titanic he paints the bases of these objects on the wreck.
Any thoughts?
