I know it is easier said than done, but shouldn't the knowledge gathered by the regulars of this board be boiled down into a book? A book is certainly a more impressive reference than a simple URL which is quite easy to forget or lose.

Of course, there would be a lot of problems with copyright issues, finding a publisher, etc. but I fancy that handing over a book about the technical details and the appearance of the ship would be more convincing about the association's intentions and may set certain doubts at rest.

Obviously, it is difficult to present this knowledge in an easy-to-digest form but cautiously adding a pinch of general Titanic information may help to avoid having too much meat and too little sauce if I may say so. (E.g. a few months ago I was very pleased that Scott Andrews gave me a detailed description about the difficult task of launching a ship. Such bits of information may be of interest for the readers).

With a small scale version of Robert Hahn's excellent Titanic plans, this book could be a hit.
