In case you missed the earlier announcements, it is not too late to join us in Chicago for the Titanic Exhibition. While I will no longer buy tickets for late-comers, you
can still get them online. Go here for details and click the "buy tickets" link. There are still tickets available for May 27th.

Be sure to specify general admission ($7.00) AND the Exhibit itself ($10.00), as you'll need both to get in.
We will be going to the 9:30 AM show on May27th. If you plan to attend, you should be here Friday night, so that you can meet us at the Hotel Saturday morning,
preferably around 7:00 AM. We will have at least one van, and will work out other transporation as needed. The hotel is Extended StayAmerica Efficiency Studios,
in Burr Ridge, IL. Go to this link to make reservations or call them at (630) 323-6630.

I believe the rate is $69 a night, but the web page says $59. You should probably mention it.

One disappointment is that it looks like the Titanica Omnimax movie will end it's run May 4th. I'm not entirely sure that's correct, as the schedule only goes to May
4th on ALL movies. I'll call tomorrow for the scoop. If it is indeed cancelled, you don't need to do anything else. If by chance the site is in error, you'll want to get
tickets for that too, which are $6.00 each. We had planned to go to the 3:50 show. That will put the price of museum admission, exhibit and movie at $23.

The current attendees include:
Doug May
Scott Andrews
Karen Andrews
Ray Lepian
Todd Hughes
Leslie Hughes
Larry Jibson
David Jibson
Bruce Beveridge
Mark Darrah
Chris Daino
Roy Mengot
Jerry Davidson
Jim Harper
Special guest???

After the show, we'll probably hang around the museum for a couple of hours. There is plenty else to see, including the U505 U boat, which ought to be pretty
popular after the new movie coming out this weekend. They also have a full size 707, the Pioneer Zephyr passenger train, and the Leviathan builder's model.

Later that evening, we have a meeting room reserved for drinks and chat. Many will be bringing items from their collections. Bruce will have all of his photos, books
and plans, I'll bring along some of my plans, and Ray Lepien will bring along something from his vast collection. I think Roy may bring along some of his videos.
Sunday is open, but I figure a brunch would be nice. If you'd like to set out on your own, feel free. Otherwise we won't abandon you. Remember, this is Memorial
Day weekend, so you have time to get home if you have Monday off.

If you are flying in, Bruce and I can arrange to pick you up Friday. I live close to O'Hare, and Bruce is near Midway. Let us know if you need a lift.
Please feel free to email me or Bruce with any questions.
