I got a call from Bruce last night. He just got back from the British Titanic Society convention in Southampton, and has lots of cool stuff to report.
His PC is out of commission and he's bedridden with a leg injury, so he asked me to fill everyone in until he can start posting.
It sounds like their presentation was a smashing success! Everyone was in awe of the work he and Robert did on the plans and it sounds like he's turned into quite the celebrity. I guess we'll have to start calling him Mr. Beveridge from now on. He's now hanging out with the likes of Eaton & Haas, Mark Warren and Simon Mills, who were all present.
He got around to a few of the museums too, and got his picture taken at the Titanic docks in Southampton (after climbing over a fence no less). All in all, it must have been a great trip. I know he got lots of pics, and I'm sure we'll get a full report soon.
I'll post a couple of his new finds in separate posts.
