From what I've learned, I'd trust Roy on this one. Besides, in order to accept that 12 degree figure, you have to go against the eyewitness testimony to the contrary. Hundreds of people who witnessed the event at varying distances and from vantage points 360 degrees around the ship. Back in 1912, an overwhelming number of these very same witnesses said they saw the ship break apart as she was going down. Contemporary nvestigators chose to ignore their testimony. Who has history proven to be correct? I'll put my money on the witnesses, thank you.
