I replaced all the decks on my wreck model and it's not that tough. I used thinner stock so had to add a shim under all the kit walls to bring them to the correct height. The boat deck has the raised roof areas that need to be cut out, but it gives you the chance to set the davits further outboard without dealing with trench in the deck. A-deck in the kit is a mess and needs to be rearranged by both the fore and aft entrances. Use the deck plans to mark where the walls and fixtures are and scribe the decks. Remember to leave the gutters in the right places. Make new rigging holes from the bottom side and you can get smaller holes that don't need filling later.
