If you look in my article, if it is still up, you will notice rings around the pipes in a number of places. Though these are couplers, the ones that run across the expansion joint were made up of a brass type arrangement inside the coupleer. I don't have the exact stats on the expansion couplers but I'm sure they were of the same type as the ones used for the main steam pipes. I had the stats just with me last night, so unless Scott answers it first, I wil look it back up. This was a common ship fitting.
