Ok, what I heard is that Since Cunard bought White Star and Carnival bought Cunard, Carnival indirectly owns Titanic's rights. This means the only (legally) company that could build Titanic is Carnival. And I heard they threatened to sue those Swiss companies if they were to start construction.
On the other hand some one told me he read and saw pictures of her keel in a ship related magazine. I don't know. He may be right.
I doubt it will go any farther anyway. Besides the replica would be dwarfed by other ships.
