I don't think anybody misunderstood your question there, C.J., but somewhere along the line somebody mentioned the ship swapping conspiracy theory, and that became a new topic for discussion. Maybe it should have started over as a new thread, but since it came up in this one, it continued in this one.

They already had 6 of these particular propellers on order, once the first one needed a new propeller, just seems , they would take it from one of the sisters, and THEN order another propeller to be made. Sorry , the book I read , said the Olympic threw a propeller blade. I did not EVER think they(the two ships) were ever swictched, that was just somebody who got off on the wrong Idea of what I had originally asked. c j reynolds
