: The conspiracy theory regarding the "switch" of Titanic and Olympic is as my title stated: Hogwash. There is a book in the works by authors whose names I can't divulge which will take this theory apart piece by piece and send it to a place even lower than the wreck of Titanic. Try UFOs if you want conspiracies.

: : I'm not sure if the premise of your question is correct. It is true that Olympic
: : dropped a propeller blade but I have never seen anything to indicate that one was cannibalized from Titanic. It seem to me that they probably cast a number of spares which they kept in Belfast. If you do have information that the replacement came from Titanic, I'd be interested in the reference. I don't think it was a major undertaking to cast a propeller blade. The stern frame castings were another matter. The blades were roughly 10' tall and bolted to the hub assembly. A casting of that size at most forges would not have been any big undertaking and wouldn't have taken much time to do.

: : : If the propeller from Titanic was scavanged to put Olympic back on the high seas ,

: : : Did Titanic receive one of Britannic's original
: : : propellers?
: : : Anyone?

Titanic's number was 401, her propellers say so, why would they be Brittanic's?
They once also claimed the Olympic was the real ship 12,000 miles down on the Atlantic Ocean which was proven wrong when they found the numbers.
