I'm not sure if the premise of your question is correct. It is true that Olympic
dropped a propeller blade but I have never seen anything to indicate that one was cannibalized from Titanic. It seem to me that they probably cast a number of spares which they kept in Belfast. If you do have information that the replacement came from Titanic, I'd be interested in the reference. I don't think it was a major undertaking to cast a propeller blade. The stern frame castings were another matter. The blades were roughly 10' tall and bolted to the hub assembly. A casting of that size at most forges would not have been any big undertaking and wouldn't have taken much time to do.
