well blake, on my Titanic i used balsa strips and flat head pins as hull plates and rivits, this creates that smooth but rough look and feel that i wanted for her but with Lusitania i used saolid cardboard squares and fit them together like puzzle pieces and i plan to use the same thing as rivets. the cardboard creates a bulky effect that fits the Lusi and when glued together acts like a "skin" and is very stable and trustworthy and looks great! i hope this assists you in any way
