If you live where I do (western Virginia) 'evergreen strips' are Christmas decorations. I used heavy fishing string for the kickboards for my 1/350 forcastle and poop deck railings and it worked great. I am now facing the same task on the 1/570. Without ordering evergreen strips, any suggestions on a better way to make the kickboards?
