: Hello Jeanne,
: : White Star Buff color? I'm not exactly sure what you mean? I do have to mix some paint later to fix the deck, the nail polish remover did a little more than just loosen the glue.
: White Star Buff was the name of the colour used on the funnels of the Titanic (in addition to the black). I was asking what paint did you use to simulate this White Star Buff?
: Cheers, Mike
Testors Tan #1167 is what I used on the funnels. Did you see the photo I sent? Then they look right? I hated the orangeish color they were B-4 I painted them. Actually, I had a tiny accident with the tan, it got spilled last night, I picked it up & the top came off. At least it didn't do any permenant damage, just got on me & the box to the model which is wipeable. & what's strange is, I also have another Testors tan that came with a paint kit that is more a peach color than tan, isn't that strange? That's the color I have been using on the passengers & crew for the face & hands.
