I'm new here but I'm a big fan of the full size version they built for the film BUT:
you must remember that some of the redundent deck spaces were not built, and
to me, checking out the Cameron Explorer, the boat deck railings can only be seen for the port side only AND it seems to me that the day that they did these
photos that the piece of railing that separated the 2nd class from the enginnering section was pulled back(not bolted into the deck) against one
of the walls where it doesn't belong, what I'm saying is that the accuracy of these areas would be in doubt I believe because of the SHRINKAGE. I seem to remember a scene in the film where Jack and Rose are walking thru that aft
railing section from second class to first class, so hmmmm? I just recently
restored the piece of railing from the top of the stairs leading from the well deck to the starboard B deck, thats why I asked earlier about the signage. I am really
impressed with some of these models. makes me want to rebuild the one I built back in 1980. RonH
