In addition to Loren's excellent suggestions for adding bulk to the "brassengers" I should mention to you or anyone adding them to their kit in animated poses to first bend them into the pose you want and then bulk 'em up. Otherwise you will find it more difficult to pose them afterward.
Cut between their legs with the tip of a hobby knife and then bend one leg back and one forward for walking. Or at the waist and knees for sitting, etc.
