...especially since there's already enough scratchbuilding to do just to make the necessary corrections to the rest of the model. Besides, the appearance of the outside surfaces and the sharpness of those window edges are crucial to the finished appearance of the model, so this is NOT the place to take chances.

Well, the thought has crossed my mind to putty the entire side, sand it down, and then remove the windows. IS THIS A WISE CHOICE??? OR SHOULD I REPLACE THE BOTH PIECES ALTOGETHER...
