I'm trying to understand how Tom's Modelworks PE
windows are used. Since the windows (except for the officers quarters) are flush with the bulkheads how are they supposed to be applied and still be flush with the bulkheads? It sounds like it would be a tedious process at best to cut out the old windows and fit the new ones flush with the surface of the bulkhead. Am I missing something? Theoretically the decals seem like a better way to go because they could be applied flush with the bulkheads.
Whoever answers this, please confine all answers to modelling practices only. I don't want to start a political referendum on whose products are better that another's.
