Dear fellow enthusiast,
just thought I would share this horrid moment with all of you. I have managed to screw up on my model again. This is regarding the A deck enclosed promenade pieces. I don't know whether it is my teenage eagerness or not but I rushed in to completing a fix mentioning that to make the windows seem bigger you have to carve out the inner panes at a 45 degree angle. Without looking to see which side I was doing, I ended up completeing this fix on the wrong side (the side that is faces outward). Those creases I was fussing about in a previous post were indeed the back of the piece!!!
Well, the thought has crossed my mind to putty the entire side, sand it down, and then remove the windows. IS THIS A WISE CHOICE??? OR SHOULD I REPLACE THE BOTH PIECES ALTOGETHER??? If so, I know that the Minicraft Corperation offers parts if you have lost or messed up the ones you have. What is the mailing address I should write to and how much will it cost to get a new set of the A deck promenade parts (2).
Any help from the great Titanic modelling minds out there will be GREATLY appreciated.
