Thanks for the nice words! I really appreciate it.
The R/C destroyer you're referring to is my USS Vogelgesang (DD-862), a Fram job from the 1970's. The 1/96 scale model is still with me, boxed up safely in a crate. I need to get it out and refurbish the paintwork because the Testors Dullcote that I sealed the decals with has yellowed. I've been given a few ideas on how to clear this up, so when I have a little free time, I'll take care of it. Other than the yellow paint, the model is intact.
