I don't know if the Britannic's results are known. the information I stated was from one of the crewman on board the tug. He was a new employee at the time. He was interviewd at some point and that was a quote of sorts from him. They were worried that the Britannic was going straight to Southampton with the H&W personall. Taking them off to war i guess. it was foggy and they called into shore that the Bitannic was nowhere to be found, then out of the mist, there was her white gostlike hull. She disembarked the H&W people on the tug and went on her way. it was not wise to sail the liners in fog, if it could be helped. However, It seems she was in a hurry because she apparently left for Southampton, or at least stayed anchored until the fog lifted and then sailed. That is unclear.
