I totally agree with both you and Mike on this issue and heartily agree with the no review idea. However, even though i have apologizedto almost all those involved, I also believe that this should not be a forum for bashing the competitions products using the ruse of helping a potential modeler as a vehicle for that criticism. Advertise ALL products for the models on here and let the MODELERS make their own decisions on what they plan on purchasing.
I again apologize for my part in the flame fest, I was too agressive in my tactics. I understand that and feel bad about it. I do not however apologize for the content, other than the agressivness. The content was essentially correct and I also got baited and felt compelled to answer the criticisms and raise some of my own. I am not proud of my part in this and feel badly about it. I will not retract any of the points posed there however.
I apologize to the members of this fine organization for that agressiveness in my posts. I will not involve myself in any further posts of that nature. However, if there are any unwarranted attacks of the same nature in the future, I will be right there to defend the party that is being unethically attacked. There is no room for that on this fine website. There is enough room for ALL manufacturers to advertise and promote their products, but NOT at the expense of others. That is ethically unacceptable in my mind.
Again, my apologies to all. I will now put together an article for the site on my recent visit to the Orlando Titanic Exhibition.
