Loren,

: Once again, I apologize to anyone offended and wish
: you all great success with your Titanic projects.

I think if we all work together to promote models, modeling, modeling skills and third party products it will be a win/win situation for all.

While price is a main factor to be considered, also too is quality of service, consumer/producer communication, ease of use of product and customer satisfaction.

Good products should be able to stand on their own merits. I welcome all manufacturers willing to answer the needs of the modeler and show my appreciation by endorsement and purchase of said products. While it is understood that manufacturers may show a certain bias to thier own product line I usually listen more to the modelers that USE them to get a good understanidng on the pros and cons of each product line offered.

As for the Titanic related brass p/e currently available I would say a modeler wishing to build the most accurate kit (in the 1:350 line) will need to purchase from several companies in order to address each specific area to the maximum.

As a modeler I find Tom's Modelworks, Gold Medal Models and Ocean Liner Models to fit the bill and will continue to support each as they meet MY needs.

The variety of choice and competition for consumers monies ensures quality and quantity at a fair price will remain at hand. I tip my hat to each company that has taken the time to address modeler's concerns and wishes so we can all enjoy this past time to the fullest.

Thankyou for listening.....

Cheers, Mike
