It probably comes down to finding a dimension on the plans that you know is correct and then measuring the plan in front of you. I would suggest looking at plans that have the dining room furniture displayed. Also photographs of the statue that was on the grand staircase, could be compared to phoographs. I am sure they measured the statue. RMS Titanic would know.
Or you could get a set of plans and just estimate it.
