my question on doors

Here's my question on the boat deck doors. The pictures of T and O show an open gym door, interior side brown in color. Was the exterior of the door also wood color, or was it painted white? The port staircase entrance on the boat deck appears to be wood brown. And the officers quarter doors appear to have been white. So, which of the others were wood and which were painted white???
