Bruce, I am aware that the covers were raised, usually seen horizontally on the Titanic and vertically on the Olympic. I was not sure if the cover plates' holes were covered by glass, or perhaps screening like you see in some cowl vents. I have never seen a clear enough picture to determine what was on them. Nor does the 1/350 Instruction manual of any help considering the nature of the piece they want you to even glue inside this structure. Glass does seem the logical choice but I wanted to be sure before I commit to anything final. If in doubt, ask, right? Cheers, Mike
