Amazon.com - the saga continues

I called Amazon.com yesterday and spoke to a real live person. I was told that the book had not been released by the publisher yet (I almost had a stroke at THAT not-surprise answer :-) ). When I told the operator that indeed the book WAS already released and that their competition already had it and was shipping, I then recevied assurance that it would be actively looked into as to why Amazon didn't have it yet and will get back to me by Friday. Not holding my breath, but here's hoping I got them on the ball.
