by Jason JI agree with Bob, you should go up in scale. It would be more expensive to scratch build, but 1/350th is a bit cramped to try to fit motors, servos, batteries, the reciever, and ballast. You could make a mold and make the hull out of fibreglass, and the upper decks out of styrene or some other durable material, and have the upper decks removeable as a single unit to maintain the running gear. Besides, you don't want all those R/C hydroplanes to be bigger than the Titanic, do you? There was a post on an earlier board with pics about an R/C Titanic that sunk and resurfaced. Really cool. I think it was about seven feet long or so. Good luck on your project...
