Hi,
There are often discussions on telling the difference between Olympic and Titanic. I have seen a few photographs which show both ships utilising the derricks on the foremast. Is it correct that while both ships have a derrick on the aft side of the foremast, the Olympic uniquely has one on the forward side of the foremast?
If so, would it not be obscuring the view from the crows nest.
Perhaps I am imagining the whole thing, but that is how it appears. Photo refs on request.
