Just a note: I've seen this enough to believe
that there may be some confusion as to the
names or locations of the various decks. The
davits and lifeboats are located on the Boat
deck; "A" deck is the first deck below the Boat
deck (location of the 1st cl Smoking room,
1st cl Lounge, 1st cl Reading and Writing
room and the 1st cl Verandahs) next is "B" deck
(a la carte restaurant, cafe parisienne, parlour
suites w/private promemade, 2nd cl Smoking
room; same level as fo'c'sl and poop deck) and
so on. Hope this helps any newcomers find
their way and helps avoid any confusion for
those trying to answer your questions.
