Excellent observation, The plans in the Eaton and Haas book is actually of "T" The other plans that appear around as far as I've seen are of "O". I haven't seen Warrens yet. I pulled out my "T" video collection and in the National Geographic Ballard speacial there is a damn good piece of movie footage of the aft end of "T" or "O". Upon further examination I came to the conclusion that it was "T" because it didn't show any stairs from C to B deck going up to the angled part of the deck as is true with "O". "T"'s stairs went up to the straight part of the deck (90 degree angle part of it). This footage didn't do anything for your question because it was shot to high to see the hatches. (If in fact it is "T" it does prove that there was a white support next to the ladders on A deck as both are absoulutley visible)
Because of the difference in stair configurations I would say the hatches on "T" are on the angled walls of the well deck. The hatches were probably right next to the #5 hold like Marschall painted only on "O" because the stairs would then have been right over the hatches. I would think that with the stairs being in the way the crew would have an obstruction to go around in order to stow gear in there. The shipbuilder book came with some pretty good fold out plans but they are of "O" and unclear in that exact area. If it helps, I found that on Camerons Titanic, the hatches are on the angled walls.

The window question is not one of my forte's I'll leave that to someone else.
