Perhaps so, we'll have to agree to disagree. It will be an issue to be left up to the individual modeler. My only reply to the close-up Father Browne photos is that in the one of the two people stamding in front of the crane, I think that the support is just barely visible on the ouside of the ladder support. "The boy playing the top" picture shows the ladder straight on and totally covers the support. The photo I refer to in Last Days of "T" is in my opinion unrefutable. That just isn't the sun shining off the ladder. That picture shows a white pole and that it a picture of the Titanic. The lady in the picture is standing right in front of where the ladder should be and the crane boom over her head covers the rest of it. In reference to the shakey picture of "T" being pushed by the tenders,I can see a lighter verticle line running through the ladder. This optical illusion is caused by the quality of the picture. Let me reiterate that yor right Bob. Leave it up to the eye of the beholder. My model will have the white support beams.
