I have read in your pages that it was 10 1/2" wide... in 1/350, .03" or just under (and I do mean JUST under) 1/32 of an inch. Micromark at 1-800-225-1066 sells an item called a Paint Striper in various widths including 1/32. It's currently on sale for $6.95, item number 81481. It's a little bottle with a brass applicator wheel that wipes the color of paint in the bottle onto the model as a stripe. Page 30 of the current catalog. I don't know how much dry transfer gold stripes are but they'd have to be cheap to beat this, as you'd still have a tool you could use elsewhere when you are done... Haven't tried it, thought you might mention it on your paint-striping page if you wanted to. Yes, it comes with a guide to follow a straightedge!
