Attention modelers interested in a large scale hull...

I have sent a letter to Lee Upshaw of "Scale Ship-
yard" trying to interest him in making a 1/96 scale
fiberglass hull for the Titanic. If you are unfamiliar with
Scale Shipyard's products, they are high quality large
scale hulls, mainly of warships. Mr. Upshaw makes a
number of large hulls such as a 1/96 scale Iowa-
class battleship (approximately Titanic's size) a Ya-
mato-class hull and numerous other ships. He also
makes some merchant hulls in this and other scales.
He has a site at http://members.aol.com/seapics/
SSY/SSYMain.htm. He can be emailed at
SCALSHPYRD@aol.com. If anyone is the least bit
interested in the basis for a fine scale model suitable
for R/C or as a starting point for a truly impressive
static model, please email him and let him know that
there is some interest out here. I've seen a number
of posts on this site asking about whether such an
animal exists and where to get it. Now's the time to
try to get someone interested in making this a reality.
It would be nice for once to get some of the top
quality stuff that the warship modelers and sailing
vessel modelers ("rag-flyers", I've heard them called)
have enjoyed and taken for granted all these years!
Regards, Scott
