There are several photos of the Docking Bridge showing life rings quite clearly. These were taken by Fr Browne and also local newspaper photographers. Unfortunately these show the REAR of the life rings, with no lettering. However there is one phot which shows the front side (Titanic Voices, page 57) This picture is owned by Peter Boyd Smith and is very clear. An examination of the original with a magifying glass I am almost sure will indicate whether or not the rings carried a name. Remember that the surviving lifeboat name plate carries "SS Titanic" not "RMS Titanic". Good Luck.....I hope you are not going to attempt a "Bible on a pinhead" by painting letters on the rings of the 1/350 model (or smaller!!!!)
