How far down on the hull does the white paint go? I am
mainly concerned about the areas near the well decks.
It seems that the well decks are molded too low. On
the picture on the box, the white paint stops at the
well deck and continues on the other side, this follows
along my impression that the white paint should follow
the molded line. I don't believe that the white paint
stops like that, especially if you want to paint in the
yellow stripe.
On the movie, there is a strip of white paint below the
well deck that is slightly wider than the yellow stripe,
and yet some of the original Titanic pictures look to
have the white paint just at the bottom of the well
deck.
I was wondering if anyone else has come across this
problem and if so, how you fixed it. Would it be
possible to fill in some of the hull at the well deck?
