Hello,
I have a few quick questions on painting of the hull.
1) The directions don't say anything about painting the
actual black (since its already molded black). I'm sure that
painting it would look much better, but will it cover some
of the details on the side of the ship?? Or will the molded
black look fine.
2) If I do paint the black, should I paint before or after I drill out the portholes?
3) About the gold strip. I've noticed pictures (the box and Loren Perry's model) with
the gold strip going all the way around the hull between the black and white. I've also
seen numerous messages talking about it only around the stern. Is this the same gold
stripe or am I confused. Which is correct.
I apologize if this has been covered before. I try to read all the message boards (there all
awesome, found many answers to questions I've had) before I ask a question. Of course, everytime
I read them I find new info which I've missed before. Thanks for the great site!
