Hello KB,

I've pondered on what to use myself. I have built this kit several times, and have never been satisfied with the riggin. I too have decided to go with fishin line. I bought 4lb test, which is about .008 in diameter. For the funnel stays I am using thin steel wire, also about .008. The great thing about the wire on the funnels is you do not have to glue them in. Just measure the distance from the deck to the holes in the funnel (cut the wire a little bit longer) and they just pop into place. As for the sizes, I'm going to use the hundreds of reference photos I have. I'm sure some of the guys that read this message board are a lot more knowledgable about that kind of stuff and they will help you out. They are a noble bunch.

Good luck

Derek

: After a lot of thinking and reading other people's ideas, I've decided to use fishing line for my rigging lines. Just a few questions which I couldn't find answers for. What size fishing line should it be?? I guess I don't need the exact size, but is it supposed to be bigger, smaller or the same size as the string which came with the kit? and are all the rigging lines supposed to be the same size or we're there different size rigging cables. Any help would be greatly beneficial. Thanks!
