I tend to agree very much with Jason concerning the thin stripe.
We have no real way of knowing that the RMS Titanic has a thin stripe at all. Whatever photos I've seen of the RMS T show none if any, and whatever is seen may be a reflection of light.
However, that does not mean I am not a fan of the yellow/gold/or orange line......and my son says it shoulde be yellow.
So consequently, we have opted to use the strips of decal used for car designs, and it comes out much better than trying to paint it.
