Rust brown isn't too bad of a choice, but first decide what
exact shade of brown you will use for your deck color, and
unless you go with a really dark deck shade, make sure the
walls you speak of are darker than the deck, otherwise it won't look
right. There may be a difference of opinion on what shade the deck
planks are, so you will need to research that. Look at the models
that are posted on this site for help, they helped me alot on my scratch
built Titanic, as well as the second, larger scratch built I am building.
As far as the portholes, some are brass, and some aren't, from what I can
tell from the pictures I have. I didn't go with the brass on my model, so perhaps
one of the other modelers who frequent this site can be of more help on that.
