Hi. First, I'm new to this message board so forgive
me if this has already been covered. In the model's
instructions, it says to paint the sides of the hatches,
the well deck walls, etc. rust brown. I have also
seen this referred to in a couple online guides.
However, in the movie "Titanic", these areas are painted
more of an orange colour (Floquil's Salmon Buff marine
colour looks to be a good match). Is Cameron's
interpretation of this colour correct, or should it
be the much darker rust brown colour, as indicated?
While I'm questioning him, do the hull portholes have
a brass-coloured frame, or were they actually black,
as shown in the film?
