After looking at the photo in Ballard's The Discovery
of the Titanic, I do agree that the overlap on the
wheelhouse is not two feet, but probably closer
to a foot. I don't believe a six-inch overhang
can be seen from the distance in the photo, but I
haven't checked it out with a magnifying glass.
Interesting. Check with Sean Winterberg about
possibly getting the photos on the site.
