: : : Does any of you have any experience with the Tauberman plans of the "Titanic"?
Sorry about the previous empty post. I goofed.
The plans of the Titanic that Taubman has for sale are taken from a 1977 issue of the French magazine : Modele Reduit de Bateau. The plans are relatively accurate for the HULL ONLY. There are many superstructure errors.
FYI Harland and Wolff archives department has plans that are expensive and large. If I recall correctly they are approximately 50 ft. long and cost over $100. This would be justified if you were going to spend thousands of dollars and several years building a large scratch built model.
