Hi all,

I sent off all of the ideas given thru the GMM survey to Loran Perry of GMM. Heres what I got back...

The following could not be done becaus ethey envolve a casting method wich GMM does not use...

Gold medal lifeboats
Better molded bollards
Bridge Instruments
A Center anchor detail kit :(

The following are good posibilities, but he will have to wait to see how the current sets sell befor he takes on any of these...

Working davits (or non-working if working ones not possible)...
Working davits not really practical using my methods. But non-working
davits are possible.

Possibly window frames of different variations - Possible

Porthole frames - Possible. But practical? He's not sure of that.

Interiors for Emergency cutters 1 and 2
Possible and practical. I already do this sort of thing for some of my
naval ship subjects and they work well.

Handrails such as those mounted on the wall of the first class promenade
This would be very expensive due to the size of the parts. Or are you
referring to the handrails that are represented in the kit
as thin horizontal raised lines about 1/3 the way up the deckhouse
walls? These are possible but installation would be very tedious.

Thats it for now, hope to see those davits some day.. hint, hint ;)

Sean W.
