That model was built by Digital Domain. They have a website, I don't have the address. Gene Rizzardi makes models for Hollywood movies but he was only the guy in charge of the production for the Titanic model. He was not the ship specialist. He hired about 20 something modelers from professional shops in the area to build the ship for DD. Tom Nicoli was in charge of putting the plans together for the ship. He took H&W plans, retranscribed them into workable plans for the modelers to use. ( The modelers didn't need to know about every piece of steel used to make each deck if you know what I mean ) The modelers went on their merry way after the project was done. I'm sure some of them still do work for DD and Tom Nicoli travels around with the 44 1/2 footer to set it up for exhibitions. Do a search for Digital Domain and see if they would pass a message on to Gene. If he or some company did the Normandie under his direction, hopefully he will help you. I have contacted John Pignatelli who was a
modeler and ship historian on the Titanic project but I have recently mislaid his E-mail address due to a computer crash. If you want you can personally E-mail me with the information you want to ask and I can see if he can answer it. Again, any Normandie project by DD may have been done by some other shop and group of modelers and not by the Titanic people.
