: Hey Everybody,
: I have been looking at some pictures and everything to learn a little more about camerons model. I have seen the model in person once before, she's a beauty. For shipping purposes they had to cut the bow off at the forward well deck. Now when teh ship is on display you can see a seem in the hull, and it can't float anymore, unless patched and reattached.
: My initial question is, who built the thing and how can I contact them? Does anyone know if they have a website or phone number I could call. I heard the modle was built in southern California, and by soem professional miniature replica makers! Please help me with this, I ahve been wanting to contact them, becuase of a modle of another ship, which I think they built, the other model was about teh same size but of teh Normandie instead. I woudl also love to get more on teh cameron model.
: Thanks All,
: Phillip
The only person(company) that I know of is Modelwerkes. They are the ones that built the 40' model for the film. The lead modeler Gene Rizzardi has been to this site(and signed guestbook). You can find thier site at

Hopes this helps. You can e-mail them from their page.
