Todd, did you look in the local libaries for the Shipbuilder. We have a few of them here in the SMU archive. There is a publication called the Engineering Index, which would have listings of the old magazines every year based on subject. There is another Engineering type magazine I just discovered here at SMU and will be checking it out soon. I think it is called Marine engineering. What I am trying to say is that you can purchase these books if you want to have them directly on hand, but if you can find them in an archive close to you, you may find more than just that book, and you don't have to buy them! Also these in book form usually omit the ads. But it sounds like a great book, having seen the original Olympic issue I know what you are saying.
The Shipbuilder for each ship were all reprinted in 1972.
Also there were references to Shipwright clubs that made models of the great liners while they were in action. This was in the 1911 engineering!
