My 'feelings' about Titanic are too vast and misunderstood to post here. I haven't a clue why I am so facinated by this ship. It is like the guy in 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' being
enthralled (spellbound) by the image of Devil's Tower and not knowing why. I don't think it is important to know 'why', but to me, researching and building the model sooths my soul in some strange way.
I believe that modelers are very special people. How many times have you heard others say something like "Oh, I could never to that"? "I can't sit still long enough to do things like that." True, detailed modeling is not for everyone. We possess a passion for something that most others do not have. We are different from each other but we have something in common. I call it a GIFT. I am thankful for that.
