You are not going to be able to barge your way in. If you cause a fuss, I can guaranty that you will mess up my access to this stuff. I am not a student, just a neighbor. Really, they don't need any trouble! They don't care whether I belong to this organization or that organization. This is a school that gets donations from some of the most powerful people in the country, Ross Perot, George W. Bush, and countless others who you would not recognize, but are leaders of major industries today. They deal with people who have a lot more pull than you will ever have, and they have the same limited access. The reason they do not make copies is because they own it. It is EXTREMELY FRAGILE, I keep saying this over and over, but you still don't seem to understand, the pages fall apart so easily that they don't want a lot of people using these books, that is why it is so hard to get to them. They fall apart! If they ever do make a good scan it will be a damaging event, the end of the books as we know them, they have been rebound so many times, that they can not find any more space on the page to do it again. So it will be a destructive event to scan the pages. Be happy that I can report on this stuff, but I can tell you this crap is not worth it! You don't like it, too bad! Now I understand why a lot of Titanic information is kept close to the owner. High handed tactics will not work!
